Type1 diabetes the body does not produce insulin. Insulin is needed in the body to convert sugar, starches and many other foods to energy. Also the bodies immune system destroys the insulin-producing cells of the pancreas. The cells are called beta cells. Type1 d iabetes was previously know as juvenile diabetes. This disorder got its named because type 1 diabetes usually occurs in children and young adults.

symptoms

some people may not have symptoms others may experience when thier sugar is high:

  • Feeling tired or fatigued
  • Feeling hungry
  • Being very thirsty
  • Urinating more often
  • Losing weight without trying
  • Having blurry eyesight
  • Losing the feeling or feeling tingling in your feet

  • others may experience others symptoms when their sugar is high like:
    • Deep, rapid breathing
    • Dry skin and mouth
    • Flushed face
    • Fruity breath odor
    • Nausea or vomiting, unable to keep down fluids
    • Stomach pain
When sugar is low people may expeerience symptoms like:
    • Headache
    • Hunger
    • Nervousness
    • Rapid heartbeat (palpitations)
    • Shaking
    • Sweating
    • Weakness
People with type1 diabetes are at a higher risk of getiing influenza.The normal range is 70 to 120 for people who don't have it.

Treatment/prognosis:
Diabetes type 1 is treated by a regular dosage of insulin.Peolpl with type 1 diabetes also need to saty active and have a diabetic diet. This disorder is not curable, but there is an increased risk of premature death.there are support groups for people with this disorder.
